Sohre Hall

• Sohre Hall will house first-year students for 2023-2024. [For 2024-2025, Sohre Hall will be upper-class single rooms.]
• History: Opened in 1961. Pittman Hall and Sohre Hall are mirror images of each other, so rooms are very similar (the primary difference being Pittman is carpeted and Sohre is not).
• Occupancy: 190 residents
• Hall amenities: Sohre has a large lounge, kitchen, and study room. 
• Room amenities: Each room is furnished with a bed, bed frame, mattress, desk, desk chair, and built-in closet space for each resident. Sohre rooms do not have carpeting.
• Bed frames have wooden ends that can be raised up to 30 inches or removed for lofting (all parts must remain in room). Lofting requires a rental from Bedloft.com. Sohre rooms have a sink, and vanity.
