Assistant Sports Information Director in Marketing and Communication

Jackson joined Gustavus Adolphus College as a sports information graduate assistant in August of 2016. As the Assistant Sports Information Director, Jackson assists the Director with all sports communications operations for the 23-sport athletic department.

A Chaska, Minn. native, Jackson graduated from Bemidji State University in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in sport managment along with a minor in mass communication. While at Bemidji State, Jackson spent time as a student intern in the athletic media relations department and assisted with daily operations as well as serving as the primary contact for track & field and the men's and women's hockey secondary contact/social media coordinator. He also volunteered for the Bemidji Axemen and several WCHA, NCAA Hockey Tournaments. 

In the summer of 2015, Jackson worked for Minnesota Baseball Association under Website Coordinator CJ Siewert as a website content intern. There he covered the league and communicated with Siewert to develop, plan, and implement material to the website.

Jackson is currently pursuing a master's degree in sport management at Minnesota State University, Mankato.
