Reed serves prospective students from southeastern Minnesota and the state of Wisconsin, in addition to his role as a counselor he also supervises the Admission student tour guides!

Joining the Office of Admission after 4 years as a Gustavus student during which time he was an Admission student tour guide! Reed majored in Public Accounting and was primarily involved with Greek Life on campus. Reed served two terms as a VP of the Inter-Greek Council and is an alumni of Epsilon Pi Alpha Fraternity where he served as Treasurer and later Co-President. He is excited to continue his time at Gustavus as an Admission Counselor and assist families in the college search process. He believes Gustavus is a special place with genuine faculty, staff, students, and alumni.

Reed is from northern Minnesota and can be found happiest when on the lake with family and friends. You may find him water skiing, playing tennis, or enjoying a great meal on a patio somewhere - Reed loves to try new restaurants! He is a fan of mystery novels (favorite book- The Westing Game), comedy movies (favorite film- The Great Outdoors), and is a frequent listener of Sirius XM's 70's on 7. 

Professional development memberships include the MACAC (Minnesota Association for Collge Admission Counseling) and CIVSA (Collegiate Information and Visitor Services Association).
