Visiting Assistant Professor in Modern Languages, Literature, and Cultures and Chinese

In September 2014, I joined The Department of Modern Languages, Literatures & Cultures as a visiting assistant Professor in Chinese language.  

Before coming to Gustavus, I taught beginning and intermediate level Chinese language classes for the Department of Foreign Languages and Literature at the University of Minnesota, Duluth, Minnesota.

My published research has appeared in Migrant and Non-Migrant Families in Chengdu, China: Segregated Lives, Segregated Schools, The Journal of Social Sciences, The Impact of Changes in Chinese Government Policy on Rural-Urban Migrant Children’s Schooling, Journal of Asian Social Science and (most recently) in  Education in China ---A Historical Perspective published by The University of Nottingham’s China Policy Institute blog:
