Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Orchestra Hall in Chicago and Walt Disney Concert Hall. Additionally, she produced festivals overseas in Salzburg, Austria and Paris, France.

Following graduation, she spent a year living in Singapore, working as a research assistant and project manager for a sociological study examining chronic disease self-management among older adults.

During college, Mara was fortunate enough to work as a reporter or production intern at several news outlets including Minnesota Public Radio, Twin Cities Public Television, and the St. Paul Pioneer Press.

Mara enjoys taking full advantage of the great Minnesota outdoors while running, hiking, and camping with her husband, Garrett, and dog, Scout.
