Jace Riggin was born and raised in North Dakota, and in many ways the rural state still has his heart. He is a 2016 graduate of Gustavus, and currently serves as an and Admission Counselor working with students from ND, SD, NE, and MN. Before returning to Gustavus, Jace was an Assistant Director at Twin Cities PBS where he coordinated a year round fundraising campaign.

As a student Jace was widely involved across campus and focused his efforts on strengthening and supporting on campus diversity, equity, and inclusion. He served as Co-Chair of the Diversity Leadership Council, Student member of the Academic Affairs Committee, Student member of the Faculty Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, and worked as a member of Tradition Articulation Team for the Strategic Action Planning Committee.

Jace is passionate about issues relating to college access and affordability, and is committed to helping each student navigate making their college decision. He is proud to call Gustavus his second home, and hopes that you too will find Gustavus to be an excellent place to build bridges and ask questions, explore your values and identity, and grow in a community that strives to affirm the dignity of all people.
