Software Engineer in Gustavus Technology Services

Greetings! I have been in the Gustavus community since 2005 first as a full time student, then as a full time employee in Gustavus Technology Services. I completed a history degree in spring 2016. I started as the Hardware Technician and shortly thereafter moved to the Macintosh Coordinator and User Services role managing all Macs, iPhones, iPods and iPads owned by Gustavus as well as assisting with the management and daily operations of the helpline.

When I'm not working at Gustavus I'm working on building a produce farm that I founded in 2015: Cedar Crate Farm. I am passionate about agriculture, local food, local business and sustainable agriculture. I grew up on a conventional farm and raised sweet corn and other produce as a kid and decided I needed to compliment my digital work with some tangible work where I am able to see and touch the results.

Outside of my professional endeavors I am a seasonal woodworker (I only really have time for woodworking in the winter). I enjoy a good craft beer and play a few video games should time allow.
