Dan Currell ’94

Alumni, Faculty, and Trustee

I was born in Toronto, Ontario and grew up both there and in St Charles, Illinois.  In the Fall of 1990, I came to Gustavus.  I majored in Religion and Sociology/Anthropology.  During the summer before my junior year I was on an archaeological dig in Israel, then spent my junior year at Mansfield College, Oxford.  During my senior year, I met my wife, Sara Tollefson Currell '95, and we were married in 1996 while I was a third-year law student at the University of Chicago.

I practiced law briefly in the Twin Cities, but moved to a management research company called CEB in 1999.  In 2015 I joined Novus Law.

In 2012 I joined the Board of Trustees at Gustavus.  I am also on the boards of Midland University and Augsburg Fortress Press.  I am a competitive cyclist, and Sara and I are very involved in our church (www.easter.org) and our childrens' school (www.minnehahaacademy.net).
