Daniel Lee ’16

Alumni and Administrator

Admission Counselor in Admission

Happily reunited with his alma mater, Daniel is excited to share the Gustavus community and experience with prospective students as an admission counselor. He is a 2016 graduate of Gustavus and currently works with prospective students from Arizona, California, New Mexico, and select Twin Cities high schools. Between graduating from Gustavus and joining the admission team, Daniel taught English in Kashiwazaki, Japan, through the Japanese Exchange and Teaching Program.

As a Gustavus student, Daniel was highly involved on campus through social, service-oriented, and academic organizations on campus. His fondest memories include persevering through the history capstone with his fellow history majors, serving as co-president of the Epsilon Pi Alpha Fraternity, and being a Gustie Greeter.

Daniel is ecstatic to provide knowledge and support to prospective students and their families throughout their college search process. Gustavus provides the academic challenge, extracurricular experiences, and supportive community to turn its students into universal citizens who possess the necessary skills and worldly perspective to succeed in the future. He would love to share all of the wonderful opportunities Gustavus provides with you!

Daniel firmly believes in a healthy work/life balance. If you cannot find him in his office, he his most likely playing sports with other Gutavus staff and faculty, listening to his record collection, or lost in a great book! Born and raised in Southern California, Daniel is a huge Los Angeles Sports fan and occasionally finds himself missing 60-degree winters.

He would love to have you on campus to experience what it truly means to be a Gustie!
