CJ Siewert ’11

Assistant to Director of Sports Information at Gustavus Adolphus College

Siewert joined Gustavus Adolphus College as a full-time employee in September of 2011 as the Assistant to Director of Sports Information. While attending Gustavus as a student, Siewert interned in the Sports Information Office from January through May his junior year. He also started an internship with the Minnesota Vikings as a website content intern during the spring of 2010, which lasted until the end of the Vikings' 2010 season. While with the Vikings, he was under the supervision of 2006 Gustavus graduate Mike Wobschall.

The summer after his junior year, Siewert continued to work in the Sports Information Office as a summer assistant. During his senior year, CJ maintained his internship with the Vikings' website and interned in their public relations department as a game day intern. 

Siewert also serves as the Communications Director for the St. Peter amateur baseball club and has been a contributing writer for the St. Peter Herald since February of 2011. 

CJ, a St. Peter, Minn. native, lives in St. Peter with his wife Kayla (Buggert) `11, and their black lab Marley.
