Kathy Chalhoub has been with the Chaplains' Office for nineteen years. She is a South Dakota native, graduating from Northern State University in Aberdeen with a BS in Elementary Education and Music. Her graduate work is through the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks. Kathy taught for many years in both South Dakota and North Dakota. Her time spent teaching and love for music has provided a good base for her work in the Chaplains' Office.
As Administrative Assistant in the Chaplains' Office, Kathy is the first person you're likely to see or talk with when you call or visit. In addition to welcoming all who visit the Chaplains' Office, Kathy keeps the chapel schedule, tracks the office budget, creates worship bulletins, supervises the student employees, and oversees weddings and other public events in the chapel. If you are an off-campus group or planning a wedding in Christ Chapel, Kathy will be with you throughout your planning and event.
Kathy is married to Tony Chalhoub. She has two grown children: Sarah (son-in-law, Rob), Puck and step-daughter, Melanie. The family was blessed with the arrival of sweet Ruthie in October of 2013.
