Life before Gustavus
Born in Eau Claire WI. Grew up in Minnetonka MN. 1976 grad of Minnetonka HS. Played basketball, baseball and soccer in HS. Eagle Scout--troop #346. Active member at Minnetonka Lutheran Church. Sang in Minnetonka High School Choir.

What are your professional/work interests?
Active member in Minnesota Association of College Admission Counselors and NACAC. Frequent speaker at admission and financial aid workshops/college nights.    Former co-chair of the National College Fair committee of MACAC. Current tri-chair of the Minnesota Education Fair committee of MACAC.

What is your best college search tip?
It is okay to be undecided about what you would like to major in. Ask about resources for students who are unsure or who want to change majors.

What do you learn from interacting with Gustavus students?
They are bright, well-rounded upbeat and cheerful people! It is truly a joy to work in this college of the church and its community.

What do you value most about working at Gustavus?
The people with whom I work and serve. The mission of the college in all of its facets.

What are your hobbies?
Family, faith and friends. I coach my sons sports team, teach Sunday School at Mt. Olivet Lutheran and plan to join the choir this fall.

What are your favorite Gustavus traditions?
Christmas in Christ Chapel, daily worship services and strong athletic traditions.
