Teachers Talking: Identifying metatopics for a new Scholars Speaking series

Wednesday, December 14, 2011 (Around 3 years ago)

Join us on Thursday, January 26 for Teachers Talking: Identifying metatopics for a new Scholars Speaking series. A new program, called Scholars Speaking, will offer a venue for collaborating faculty-student scholars to present and discuss topics of interest with other faculty and students across disciplinary boundaries (e.g. uses for LabVIEW software, the value of beauty in our scholarship). The goal of this Teachers Talking session will be to identify common themes (i.e. meta-topics) to serve as a basis for these exciting new faculty-student conversations. Session facilitated by Tom Huber (Faculty Associate of Undergraduate Research, Physics) in the St. Peter Room. Program runs 11:30 am and again at 12:30 pm. Free lunch at Three Crowns buffet
