Join us on Thursday, January 5th for Teachers Talking: reflections and next steps with Universal Design for Instruction. Universal Design for Instruction (UDI) is an approach to curriculum development that anticipates students’ diverse approaches to learning without compromising academic rigor. This session follows up on the Faculty Development Day presentation on UDI. Come and share your ideas about UDI: what you’ve tried, what you hope to do, and reflect on how it has served your students. A list of the nine principles of UDI and ideas on how to implement them is posted in the Open Classroom siteProgram runs 11:30 am and again at 12:30 pm. Free lunch at Three Crowns buffet.
