Faculty Workshop - "Students and Alcohol"

Monday, December 7, 2009 (Around 4 years ago)

Ever notice that some of your students are really loooooow energy in your Thursday morning classes? How about students who seem to be incredibly streaky in their class participation or in the quality of their work over the course of the semester? One of out three college students will at some point in his or her career meet the criteria for alcohol abuse. These are our students and advisees. The KNEAD program helps faculty members to identify potential high risk drinkers, to engage in productive discussions, and to direct them to available resources both on- and off-campus. Join us on January 20th for this faculty workshop co-sponsored by the Faculty Committee on Student Life, from 2 to 3 p.m. in the the St. Peter Room. Refreshments will be provided.
