Leadership Scholarship from the Women of the ELCA

The purpose of the Leadership Scholarship for Senior Women Faculty or Staff at Lutheran Colleges and Seminars is to develop and promote women’s leadership by assisting women administrators and faculty to participate in a leadership and management training institute such as the Summer Institute for Women in Higher Education at Bryn Mawr College.

Eligibility and Guidelines - The applicant must be nominated by the president of her institution, may attend the institute of her choice providing the program includes work in governancem, financial management, administration, and professional development, must gain admission to the institute of her choice and provide written confirmation or admission to the institute before the scholarshop is disbursed, and must show that her institution is sharing the cost of the summer institute by providing financial support in a variety of ways such as transportation, staff support as necessary, and so forth.

The maximum amount awarded to any recipient for this scholarhip is $4,000. All materieals must be submitted to the ELCA before Fabruary 15th, 2007.

 2009 Hall of Fame Class Selected

The Gustavus Adolphus College Athletics Department has chosen nine individuals for induction into its Athletics Hall of Fame. Fringe Festival Features Gustavus Theatre and Dance

Since its founding, the Minnesota Fringe Festival has featured the work of hundreds of Gustavus Theatre & Dance students, alumni and faculty. This year is no exception, with a number of performances by alumni and current students across the 11-day festival.
