The Collaboration - Upcoming Conference

Monday, November 20, 2006 (Around 7 years ago)

The Collaboration for the Advancement of College Teaching and Learning will be holding a conference on February 16-17, 2007 in Bloomington, MN.

The topic is: “Transforming Student Learning For A Global Society”. As we live, study, and work in an increasingly global society, leading higher education institutions are transforming themselves to better meet the needs of the changing student body and develop relevant student learning outcomes for the 21st century. These campuses are internationalizing general education and department curriculum, strengthening student services for immigrant and international students, and implementing professional development programs to address diverse learning styles, cultural differences, and cross-cultural communication. This conference will explore successful approaches to improving student learning within a global context and strategies for achieving long-term teaching and learning goals.
