Tuition

Registration fee: $20.00 per student per year (nonrefundable)

Fall semester and J-term: $300.00 (due September 1, 2013)

Spring semester: $240.00 (due February 1, 2014)

A monthly payment plan of 4 installments ($75 per month for fall semester, $60 per month for spring semester) is also available, with payments due on the first of each month. If a student joins the program during the middle of the semester, the tuition fee will be prorated.

Payment for the semester must be made in full before lessons can be scheduled. Checks should be made out to Gustavus Adolphus College and sent to:

Music

Students will need to buy music for study at home. The teacher will purchase the music and the student will reimburse them for this. Generally, students use $40-45 worth of music in a year. The Lab Program has a lending library that is used for sight-reading only.

Refunds

If a student is withdrawn from the program before the first lesson, all tuition will be refunded. For students who drop during the semester, refunds are available for unused lessons through the 6th week. After the 6th week, tuition is forfeited.

Missed Lessons Policy

If you know of a conflict with your lesson time, please reschedule the lesson ahead of time with your teacher. Lessons can only be rescheduled if a 24-hour notice has been given. Lessons missed due to illness, forgetfulness, or school or family conflicts cannot be made up.

If your teacher misses a lesson for any reason, they will reschedule the lesson.
