The library has many tools to help you conduct research on your topics. Use this guide to explore a selection of sources available to you. If you have questions, encounter problems, or simply want to talk about your topic, stop by the Reference Desk to chat with any of our librarians. Finding Articles
Search for articles in any of these databases. If the full text is not available through the database, click on the yellow FindIt! button. The FindIt! button will search all other databases and our print copies to see if we have access to the article. An SFX screen will pop up, directing you to full text options. If you see an option for ILL, it means we will have to request the article from another library. Click the Go button next to the ILL option to be taken directly to the ILL form.

  • U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. SEC Filings and Forms (EDGAR)

    A public database of reports on publicly held corporations, which are required by federal law to file reports on their activities with the SEC. Most reports filed from 1994 to the present are publicly available through EDGAR (Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis, and Retrieval System) on this site. Information in these reports includes financial status, chief officers, stock information, company history, pending litigation that might have an economic impact on the company, and more. A brief tutorial for searching EDGAR is also provided.

    A comprehensive source of detailed information on over 135,000 nonprofit membership organizations.

  • Livingston Survey

    The Livingston Survey was started in 1946 by the late columnist Joseph Livingston. It is the oldest continuous survey of economists' expectations. It summarizes the forecasts of economists from industry, government, banking, and academia. The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia took responsibility for the survey in 1990.
