ABSTRACT:

The South Hall Journal collection consists of a single manuscript containing entries written by residents of this dormitory at Gustavus Adolphus College.  Articles from this journal date from 1887 to 1888.  Writers discussed opinions and thoughts on various student affairs.  Topics include examinations, holidays, and parents.  This journal was briefly named the South Hall Intellectual Soarer.
