Health Education Major
Stress management, drug education, sexuality education, consumer health... Majors in Health Education are preparing for public school teaching, work within community health organizations, patient education programs in a health care settings, and/or graduate study in health promotion, health education, public health, chemical dependency, or other health-related field.
Combining an undergraduate major in Health Education with a second major is highly recommended. Possible combinations include: Physical Education, any other major with teacher licensure, health fitness, or athletic training. Required courses are offered within the Department of Health and Exercise Science, Education Department, and Communication Studies.
