How do I determine my operating system?
Depending on your operating system, there are several ways to determine what version you are on.
Microsoft Windows
To check the version of Windows that your device is running, please following the instructions below.
- Click on the Windows start button in the bottom left corner
- Start typing System Information in the search box
- Click on System Information from the list of results to open it
- Your Windows version will be listed under OS Name and Version
Apple Mac OS
To check which version of macOS you’re running click on the Apple Logo in the top left corner of your Mac’s screen and click About this Mac.
iOS
To check the version of iOS that your device is running, please following the instructions below.
- Locate and open the Settings app.
- Select General
- Select About
- Your iOS version will be listed under Version.
Android
To check the version of Android that your device is running, please following the instructions below.
- From the home or app screen, press the Settings button or app.
- Scroll down and select System.
- Scroll down and select About Phone.
- Scroll down to Android Version.
Android 8 or higher is recommended.
