When I open IE7 for the first time, it freezes
This means that there is probably an add-on you had previously installed that is not compatible with Internet Explorer 7. To disable these add-ons, follow these steps:
- Open your Control Panel
- Open up Internet Options
- Click on the Programs tab
- At the bottom of that menu, click on Manage Add-ons.
- Click on the Add-ons not verified with Microsoft individually and disable them. (please read below)
Technology Services has found that the Yahoo! Companion Toolbar is one of the add-ons that causes IE7 to freeze.
You can also remove the Yahoo! Toolbar application from the Add/Remove Programs menu in the Control Panel to fix this problem.
