GusPrint
GusPrint is a method of printing that allows users to print to one queue, and release at any GusPrint-enabled MFP within 24 hours. GusPrint was introduced in Fall 2021, and is currently limited to Konica-Minolta Multi-Function Printers

How do I add the GusPrint printer?
- The GusPrint and GusPrint-Color printers are automatically added to your computer. No printer installation needed.
How do I print to a GusPrint-enabled MFP?
- Print your document in Word, Chrome, etc, and then choose the GusPrint printer and click Print.
- Scan your ID card on the MFP in any GusPrint-enabled location, and tap Print all or selectively choose your print job, and tap Print.
- If you do not have your ID with you, you can release the print jobs from https://print.gac.edu
- If you'd like to print in color just repeat the steps above but choose the GusPrint-Color printer instead of GusPrint
- Print Jobs remain in the GusPrint queue for up to 24 hours
Scan to Google Drive
GusPrint-enabled MFPs give you the ability to scan documents and send these documents directly to your Gustavus Google Drive.
To scan to Google Drive:
- Scan your Gustavus ID at the MFP
- Tap Scan
- Tap Scan to Google Drive on the MFP's touchscreen
- Scan your documents
- First time only - Authorize the MFP to send documents to your Google Drive following the authorization process in your email. How do I authorize Scanning to GusPrint?
- Check your email (they may go to your Promotions tab, if applicable). There will be a link to your document(s). You could also navigate to Scans for Papercut MF in your Google Drive.
Scan to Department
- Scan your Gustavus ID at the MFP
- Tap Scan
- Tap Scan to (department name)
- Tap Start. Be sure to check additional pages if you are scanning more than one document.
- You will receive an email with notification that your scan was successful, with no location or links.
Locate these documents
MacOS
- In the Finder, choose Go -> Connect to Server.
- For the server path enter: smb://gustie.gac.edu/dept
- Navigate to your Department folder->\_TempScan. All employees of your department can access and read files in this folder.
- Move the scanned files to another location.
Note: All files in the the _TempScan folder are deleted nightly.
Windows
- Open This PC or Computer
- Open the Y: drive or type \\gustie.gac.edu\dept in the address bar to access your department share.
- Navigate to your Department folder->\_TempScan. All employees of your department can access and read files in this folder.
- Move the scanned files to another location.
Note: All files in the the _TempScan folder are deleted nightly.
Scan to your email
- Scan your Gustavus ID at the MFP
- Tap Scan
- Tap Scan to My Email
- Tap Start. Be sure to check Additional pages if you are scanning more than 1 page. When done, tap Finish and then tap Start. If you are scanning multiple separate documents, be sure to check New document.
- Check your Gustavus Email. If you wish to send documents to other email addresses, simply forward the message to the intended recipients.
Support
If you are experiencing issues with GusPrint, please try printing a test page. If you are able to print a test page, please contact Print and Mail Services, or Marco directly. If you are not able to print a test page, please contact the Technology Helpline.
Print a test page
MacOS
- Click on the Apple Menu
- Click on System Preferences
- Click Printers and Scanners
- Click on GusPrint printer
- Click on Open Print Queue
- Click on the Printer Menu on the Menu Bar (at the top of the screen)
- Click Print Test Page
- If the job processes and disappears, you have successfully printed a test page. If this occurs but your problem is not resolved, please contact Print and Mail Services or Marco for support.
- If the job is stuck in the printer queue, please contact the Technology Helpline.
Windows
- Click on the Windows icon in the lower left hand corner.
- Start typing Printers and Scanners, open this menu
- Click on the GusPrint printer, and click Open Print Queue
- Click on the Printer menu in the printer queue.
- Click Properties
- Click Print a Test page
- If the job processes and disappears, you have successfully printed a test page. If this occurs but your problem is not resolved, please contact Print and Mail Services or Marco for support.
- If the job is stuck in the printer queue, please contact the Technology Helpline.
