FfmpegX

FfmpegX is a program for converting video to various different file-types. This program is installed on the computer in the Culpeper Language Center's Media development station, and is used for converting files downloaded from DVArchive to file-types that are compatible with iDVD

Using FfmpegX

Start by double-clicking on the FfmpegX icon in the Applications folder
Click and drag the file you want converted into the box labeled Drop file here
From the to drop-down menu to the right, select the file-type you want to convert to. Choose .MOV mpeg-4 for use with iDVD.
Click Encode to start conversion.
