Deep Freeze

Deep Freeze is software created to protect the integrity of computer workstations by locking the computer configuration. This gives the user free control of the machine to use the computer to its fullest ability by allowing the user to install programs, delete programs, change settings, etc, when the computer is up and running. When the computer is rebooted, all changes are lost and the system is brought back to the intended configuration.

Where is Deep Freeze located?

The Deep Freeze software is only installed in computer labs and other computers that were requested to have it. Faculty and staff do not have this software on their computers.
