Turning off randomized MAC address

Gustavus uses a MAC address-based network registration system, and the randomized MAC address feature will require you to register your Android device frequently, and will provide inconsistent and intermittent WiFi. To avoid this, please turn off randomized MAC addresses for the Gustavus and GustavusSecure networks.

While connected to the Gustavus or the GustavusSecure network:

  1. Click the Settings icon next to the network name
  2. Click Advanced Settings
  3. Click Privacy
  4. Choose Device MAC
