Address Book

One of the included programs that comes on every machine, as a part of the Mac OS X operating system is Address Book.

Address Book is built for two key purposes:

  1. Store all your contacts
  2. access contacts anywhere

Address Book is a great place to store contact information for friends, family, and colleagues. The application allows you to import information from other applications (i.e. Google, iCloud, etc.), create distribution lists for you clubs and groups, print address labels and envelopes, and more.

Since Address Book is built directly into the operating system, accessing your contacts information is seamless. It can be accessed from Mail, iChat, and other applications. This application also allows syncing on your Mac with your iPhone or other mobile phone, iPad, or iPod touch.
