This week we Celebrate Philanthropy by talking with our students about the importance of "paying it forward" and sharing the stories of gratitude of our community.

Gustavus Announces New Christenson Lectureship in Politics and Law

Gustavus Adolphus College and the Department of Political Science are pleased to announce the establishment of the Ronald S. and Kathryn K. Christenson Lectureship in Politics and Law. The lectureship is being created thanks to generous funding from Kathryn Kidd Christenson to honor her late husband, Ronald Christenson, a longtime faculty member at the College.

Lind Family Donates $3 Million to Gustavus Education Department

Members of the Lind family, representing the Carl and Aune Lind Family Foundation, have pledged $3 million to support various aspects of the Education Department at Gustavus Adolphus College. The gift will create an endowed scholarship fund for education majors, an endowed faculty position in the Education Department, and help renovate the A.H. Anderson building.

Group of Alumni and Friends Create New Endowed Professorship

Gustavus Adolphus College has announced the creation of the Martin, Robinson, and Simpson Endowed Professor of Psychological Science to honor three retiring professors who combined, have given more than 130 years of service to the College.
