Reunion Giving

Reunions represent a special opportunity to reflect on the past, reminisce with Gustie friends and renew your relationship to the College. It is also a time to remember the alumni who came before you, who supported you during your time at Gustavus and made your experience here so memorable. Now, it is your chance to pay it forward by beginning, renewing or increasing your giving to Gustavus.

Reunion giving is a special component of the Gustavus Annual Fund that seeks increased support from alumni such as you, who are celebrating a reunion. Gifts to the College in honor of your reunion directly impact Gustavus and its students today, tomorrow and in the future.

  • Gifts for Todayregular gifts to the Annual Fund, multi-year pledges and matching gifts
  • Gifts for Tomorrow – special gifts to capital/facility projects, a class scholarship and other endowment funds
  • Gifts for the Future – assets given to Gustavus at a future date, usually associated with retirement or estate plans
As you consider your time at Gustavus, please also consider participating in the reunion giving program in one or more of the above ways. Levels of support vary from person to person and from class to class.Your participation is what matters most. Every gift counts!

If you are celebrating your reunion in May, your class will be counting all gifts made from the previous January 1 through the reunion weekend. If you are celebrating your reunion in the fall during Homecoming, all gifts from June 1 of the previous year through your reunion are counted. Additionally, any documented future gifts recorded by the College since the previous reunion will be counted in the class gift total.
