Forensics Team Places 9th At National Tournament

The Gustavus Adolphus College forensics team earned its best finish in school history at the American Forensic Association’s National Individual Events Tournament (AFA-NIET) when it placed ninth in the Team Sweepstakes on Monday, April 9.

Forensics Team Wins 2012 State Tournament

The Gustavus Adolphus College forensics team placed third out of 51 teams at the prestigious 64th annual L.E. Norton Memorial Tournament on Nov. 5-6 at Bradley University in Peoria, Ill.

Forensics Team Places Sixth at Prestigious L.E. Norton Tournament

The Gustavus Adolphus College forensics team placed sixth out of 47 teams at the prestigious L.E. Norton Memorial Tournament on Nov. 6-7 on the campus of Bradley University in Peoria, Ill.

Forensics Team Defends Title at Larry Schnoor Invitational

It was a busy weekend for the Gustavus Adolphus College forensics team, as the team participated in the Larry Schnoor Invitational at Minnesota State, Mankato on Saturday, Oct. 16 before turning around and hosting the Bill Robertz Invitational at Gustavus on Sunday, Oct. 17.

Forensics Team Starts Strong

The Gustavus Adolphus College forensics team opened its 2010-11 season with a strong showing at the first and second Mid-American Forensics League (MAFL) Tournaments on Sept. 25-26 in Illinois.

The Gustavus Adolphus College forensics team earned a top 10 national ranking over the weekend with its best ever performance at the American Forensic Association’s National Individual Events Tournament (AFA-NIET) in Eau Claire, Wis.

Forensics Team Captures Pi Kappa Delta National Championship

The Gustavus Adolphus College forensics team took first place in the individual events portion of the Pi Kappa Delta National Comprehensive Tournament March 19-21 in Minneapolis.

Forensics Team Wins Third Straight State Championship

The Gustavus Adolphus College forensics team won its third straight Minnesota Collegiate Forensics Association State Championship on Sunday, Feb. 21 at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minn.

Radcliffe Excels in Texas for Forensics Team

Gustavus Adolphus College sophomore Chloe Radcliffe won two individual events at the 11th annual “Hell Froze Over” Swing on the campus of the University of Texas-Austin to become the first Gustavus forensics team member to place in the individual sweepstakes in the history of the tournament.

Forensics Team Takes Second at UW-Stout Tournament

The Gustavus Adolphus College forensics team finished its fall semester schedule with a second place showing the 44th annual Michael Nicolai Collegiate Forensics Tournament at the University of Wisconsin-Stout on Dec. 4-5.

Forensics Team Sweeps Tournaments at Concordia

The Gustavus Adolphus College forensics team traveled north to Concordia College in Moorhead on Nov. 21-22 for the first and second Valley Forensics League Tournaments of the year. The team came home to St. Peter with plenty of hardware after winning 16 of the 22 events as well as the team sweepstakes for both tournaments.

Forensics Team Places Seventh at Prestigious L.E. Norton Tournament

The Gustavus Adolphus College forensics team placed seventh out forty teams at the prestigious L.E. Norton Memorial Tournament on Nov. 7-8 on the campus of Bradley University in Peoria, Ill.

Forensics Team Performs Well in Virginia

The Gustavus Adolphus College forensics team continued to assert itself as one of the top collegiate forensics programs in the country on Oct. 31-Nov. 1 at the Match Made in Heaven Tournament at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Va.

Gustavus Forensics Reaches 18th in the Nation!

The Gustavus Adolphus College has achieved it's highest placing ever at the American Forensics Association National Individual Events Tournament. Gustavus ranked 18th of 89 competing teams. Fifteen of the top twenty schools are Division I schools. To read more, please click here.

Gustavus Forensics Nationally Ranked Again

For the second consecutive year, Gustavus placed 20th in the nation at this year's American Forensics Association National Individual Events Tournament. Held in Austin, Texas, Gustavus retained its stature as a national top 20 program, holding its ground against the fifteen Division I schools that placed ahead of Gustavus in the top 20. Gustavus Forensics Team Wins State Championship

The Gustavus Forensics team recently won the 2008 MCFA State Championship! They also were recognized with the 2008 Greg Lapanta Quality Award and had 6 of the top 10 individual speakers. To read more, click here.

Summer Speech Institute a Hit!

2006 - 2007 Season

Gustavus Takes Over Top 20 in the Nation

The end of the 2006-2007 forensics season ended with a historic victory. For the first time in recorded school history the Gustavus Forensics team placed in the top 20 at the 30th American Forensics Association National Individual Events Tournament.
