The Gustavus Biology Department has one summer position available from June 3 to August 23. This job is for a self-motivated, flexible student who will be working closely with the biology staff.
The position is for approximately 400 hours, starting at $7.25 per hour, for a maximum total of $3000 for the summer (subject to change). Weekend work will be required.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Chemical and Equipment Inventory
Assist with summer ordering
General office assistance, including computer work
Other duties as determined by the department
Student will be supervised by the Biology Technical Coordinator.

Campus Summer Job
Openings — CICE
We are looking for two 40 hour week summer employees to work in the Center for International and Cultural Education (CICE) this summer, 2015. 12 weeks at $8.00 per hour. Employees will start the 2nd week of June. We would like to have students who have good computer skills and some experience with working on databases. Receptionist skills, as well as articulate phone abilities would be needed. The students would be required to be punctual and run the office when other personnel are not present. We are looking to revise and complete many new processes for the office. The people who choose this work would be relied upon for detailed, accurate work results.

The Registrar’s office has an opening for 40 hours per week this summer. This is a paid 12 week position at $7.25 per hour. Hours are 8:00 am to 4:45 pm, Monday through Friday, beginning June 2, 2014. Duties include data entry, Microsoft Word, scanning, and assisting students with registration. Punctuality, accuracy, and confidentiality are essential.

Department: Summer Academic Programs/Forensics - 10-15 hrs. per week
A student assistant will be responsible for managing camp registrations and data entry, preparing mass mailings, assisting with marketing of programs, handling camp tuition receipts, assisting with credit card reconciling, and other forensics projects on an as needed basis. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, social media (Facebook/Twitter), and forensics is required. The candidate should also possess exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Must qualify for need based financial aid.
