About Summer Courses at Gustavus

Graduate Credit
Graduate credit from Gustavus Adolphus College, a fully accredited liberal arts college,
is available for all courses offered. The cost per credit is $100. Upon completing necessary coursework and requirements, participants taking a course for credit will receive a transcript indicating the course and credits taken.

Accommodations
Air-conditioned dormitory rooms are available on a first-come, first-serve basis at a cost of $28 per night single occupancy or $20 double occupancy. To arrange for overnight accommodations, please indicate your room preference on the registration form on the last page of this brochure. There are also several hotels available in the St. Peter/Mankato area.

Meals
Meals are available through the Gustavus Adolphus College dining hall on a per meal basis. St. Peter also offers several inexpensive restaurants, fast-food sources, and a coffee house within a mile of the campus.

St. Peter (http://tourism.st-peter.mn.us/) or nearby Mankato (http://www.ic.mankato.mn.us)
is also available on the Internet.

Travel
Located just off Minnesota State Highway 169 in St. Peter, Minnesota, Gustavus Adolphus College is easily accessible by car or by plane. Those traveling by plane should make arrangements to fly into the Minneapolis/St. Paul Airport. Transportation from the airport to St. Peter may be arranged by contacting Land-to-Air Express at (507) 625-3977 or www.landtoairexpress.com/default.htm.

Registration
To register for a summer course, please complete the form on the last page of this brochure. Those registering no less than three weeks prior to the course start date will receive an early-bird, discounted rate. There is a $50 non-refundable charge for cancellations. Courses may be cancelled due to low registration or instructor illness/emergency. If the course is cancelled, a full refund will be returned to course participants already registered.
