Overview
Christmas in Christ Chapel 2025, Seeking Hope: Dreams of a New Way, takes us on a journey of longing, discovery, and renewal. Like the Magi, we embark as seekers—drawn by wonder, gathering in joyful adoration at the Nativity, and embracing a shared dream of hope, transformation, and unity. Through music, dance, and spoken word, the service celebrates the power of hope to guide us toward a new and more compassionate way of being—together.
The annual program features the Gustavus Choir, Choir of Christ Chapel, Christ Chapel Ringers, Gustavus Symphony Orchestra, Lucia Singers, and select members of the Gustavus Dance Company.
Saturday Evening, December 6, 2025
- Holiday Buffet - 5 p.m. (advance ticket purchase required)
- Doors open go Christ Chapel - 6:30 p.m.
- All guest seated - 7:15 p.m.
- Service begins - 7:30 p.m. (advance ticket purchase required)
- Service ends - approximately 9:15 p.m.

Cost
- Tickets are $35.
- Tickets for the delicious buffet that happens before each service are $30.
To order tickets - Selecting Seats
#1 - go to the map of Christ Chapel and click on any blue dot (which indicates seats still available).
#2 - in the pop-up box, select ticket type (Reserved, Gustavus Student, Gustavus employee)
#3 - Repeat for all additional tickets
Gustavus Students and Employees
Gustavus students, faculty, and staff get one free ticket to the service. To access this free ticket, enter your Gustavus ID in the “Have a Passcode?” prompt located above the map legend. Only one ID may be entered per order.
