Description

Review videos of informational interviews on Candid Career to create video playlists of informational interviews for Gustavus academic majors.  These video playlists will support students in selecting academic majors and post-Gustavus career plans.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Search Candid Career for videos of informational interviews for Gustavus academic majors.
2. Create customized playlists for majors; select which videos to include with eye to variety of career fields, gender/ethnicity diversity.
3. Create Google spreadsheet with links to customized playlists including number of videos, total time of videos, range in length of time of videos.
4. Create email messages to academic departments to share playlists for their majors.

Requirements:

1. Ability to independently manage time and project; responsible in communication with supervising staff.
2. Ability to use judgement in selecting videos to include in playlists.
3. Ability to use technology, in particular Google sheets.
4. Ability to communicate professionally including writing email messages.
5. Ability to provide recommendations on use of create playlists. 
6. Ability to work remotely; access to technology to complete project.

Additional Information:

1. Student Employment Eligible.
2. All remote for January 2021. (may extend if needed.)
3. Approximate time to complete 40 hours. (may extend if needed.)
4. Expected that there will be time response to email messages from project supervisor. 
5. Demonstrate/Gain Skills in: time management, project management, application of technology, professional communications, attention to detain, responsibility, reliability.
6. Submit email explaining interest in the position and ability to have time to do the project to Cynthia Favre cfavre@gustavus.edu by December 1, 2020 (review of applications will begin Nov. 16, 2020.  Selection made by Dec. 15.
