Women of Color Summit

Helping women of color to become empowered and resilient!

On Saturday, April 14 (2018), the Diversity Center at Gustavus Adolphus College will host the 2nd Annual Women of Color Summit, to support and empower young women of color who attend post-secondary education institutions within Minnesota.

The Women of Color Summit is intended to offer women of color the same wonderful opportunities that Black men are afforded at the annual fall Kente Summit - an environment to build community. It is designed to help women and transgender people of color find affinity with one another, help them embrace their intersecting identities, and offer an environment for them to discuss current issues of race on campus their campuses and nationwide.

Below are the bios for last year's keynotes. The 2018 theme and keynotes will be announced soon!
