It is the mission of the Diversity Center and Office of Multicultural Programs and Services to provide leadership for positive and equitable change that creates a welcoming and supportive environment for racially underrepresented students, staff, and faculty and to design activities that infuse into college life an acceptance and appreciation for difference that is morally and socially just.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED

The Gustavus Community is ready and eager for you to join us in creating a welcoming and supportive environment with an acceptance and appreciation for difference. We encourage you to join a student organization whose mission is aligned with the principles of social justice, attend an event that supports the mission of social justice, meet with Diversity Center Staff to develope an individual leadership plan, and more importantly, meet someone who you believe is unlike yourself and become acquainted. You'll likely be surprised in what you'll discover in everything you are and everything you're not. Gustavus is a community of authentic people supporting the best in one another that is worthy of you involvement.
