  • Gustavus Basic Facts / Fact Book
  • Senior Survey
    • Administered to seniors in May.
    • Includes questions similar to CIRP and CSS, as well as future plans and satisfaction with major and general education.
    • Department chairs are now provided with a summary of college-wide results as well as results specific to their department, beginning with data from last year’s survey.
  • Cooperative Institutional Research Program (CIRP) Freshman Survey
    • Administered to all first-year students during Orientation.
    • Gustavus has participated annually since 1971.
    • Four-page survey includes demographic characteristics, college expectations, high school experiences, degree goals, career plans, financial information, attitudes, values, and reasons for attending college.
    • Comparative data available from participating colleges.
  • National Collegiate Health Assessment (NCHA)
    • Conducted bi-annually with students, the National College Health Assessment (NCHA) is a nationally recognized research survey that assists in collecting precise data about students’ health habits, behaviors, and perceptions.  The survey is conducted in conjunction with the American College Health Association (ACHA).
  • National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE)
      • Administered to select students for particular studies rather than annually.
      • Questions related to how students spend their time and what they gain from attending college.
