Take advantage of the knowledge of our Career Specialists and lean on them as you continue your job search, graduate school options, pass/fail vs letter grade, or as you check in with positions you secured in the fall.
This is a marathon, not a sprint. We're here to cheer you on and support you.
The information on this page is geared to help the Class of 2020 answer some of these hard questions.
"I am graduating and was in the middle of a job search. What should I be doing when it seems like so many companies are not hiring? How do I search for a job in this environment?"
Job Searching During a Crisis Many tried-and-true job search tactics will remain the same during a crisis, while other strategies will need modification.
"I secured a job/opportunity prior to Covid 19 - is there a way to check in with them?"
Yes, we recommend you connect with your recruiter or supervisor who you accepted the position with. Ask them about how they are doing, how their work has changed or adapted with Covid-19, and if there is anything you can learn about now or expect in terms of changes due to Covid-19 (change in start date, online orientation or onboarding, different reporting structure for first day, etc.).
