Description

On Wednesday, March 30th, from 7:00-9:00 p.m. in the Wallenberg Auditorium, the Johnson Center for Environmental Innovation is hosting an event centered on climate action called Take Action: Climate Teach-In.  This is a part of a global collaboration with teach-ins at many schools all over the world. We will meet in Wallenberg Auditorium at 7:00 for a panel of speakers with a Q & A session, and then break up into interactive and interdisciplinary rooms all centered on how we can educate ourselves and take action. The rooms include activities such as an interactive art pieces, music, lots of environmental justice info, campus sustainability efforts, and interacting with government officials (and our campus government)! Join us for this empowering event on how we can deal with the effects of climate change and how we can take direct action. Please encourage your friends, classes and classmates to attend! All campus members are welcome to attend this free event and no registration is required.
