Description

Presenter: Dr. Mimi Gerstbauer, Professor of Political Science, Peace Studies, LALACS, and African Studies

The Trump presidency began with an affront to Mexico and it's president, an executive order limiting access to the U.S., and a U.N. ambassador saying she would "take names eof those who don't support the U.S. What will happen with our longstanding allies and NATO? The war on ISIS and other terror groups? Climate change? Given that Trump has no foreign policy experience and has not offered a coherent foreign policy, what else can we expect? Trump's international impact will be put into a broader perspective of global trends and past presidencies in an attempt to evaluate where we may be headed in the next four years.
