Slide Lecture by Ceramicist James WatkinsApril 3, 2006 at 2:30–3:30 p.m.

James Watkins, professor at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, will present a slide lecture/discussion about his work in ceramics. His work is found in the White House Craft Collection and the Smithsonian American Art Museum and is the subject of a monograph titled "A Meditation of Fire: The Art of James C. Watkins." An example of Watkins' work is included in the "Clay Bodies by Student Bodies" exhibition currently showing in the Hillstrom Museum of Art.
