Description

Faculty and Students are invited on Friday, November 1 at 3:30 PM to the Interpretive Center for a panel discussion "Scholars Speaking: Faculty/Student Scholarship in the Humanities". Participating in the panel will be four faculty/student teams who received Gustavus Presidential Faculty/Student Collaboration grants this summer: Ana Adams (Modern Languages, Literatures and Cultures) and Avery Wallace; Eric Dugdale (Classics); Robert Kendrick (English) and Justin Feit; Sean Cobb (English) and Abigail Huff. Each of these teams worked on different types of projects using a different paradigm for collaboration. They will share an overview of their projects, some details about how their collaboration worked, and what they gained from the project. Time will be available for discussion and question/answers. Refreshments will be served.

This will be the first event in the new "Scholars Speaking" series, co-sponsored by the Kendall Center and Provost's Office. The Scholars Speaking series will engage both students and faculty in discussion topics related to research, scholarship and creativity.
