Description

Safe Zone Training is an interactive experience empowering allies to develop the skills to create a Safe Zone and to promote open dialogue about the diversity of sex, gender and sexual orientation.

Do you know what it means to be asexual?

Are Physical Sex, Gender, and Sexual Orientation independent from each other?

How do you begin to respond to someone who has just come out to you?

Is Queer a bad word?

These questions are just a few that will be explored and answered during Safe Zone.

Safe Zone is the perfect opportunity to develop skills and ask questions in a safe setting related to being an ally and understanding Queer identities. If you have attended Safe Zone in the past, this is also the perfect opportunity to get a quick refresher to help further develop skills needed as an ally.
