The Office of Human Resources is pleased to announce a Retirement Readiness virtual meeting on Monday, March 22 from 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. with representatives from Social Security and TIAA. All employees and their spouses are welcome to virtually attend this meeting.

The Social Security Benefits talk, as presented by Rhona Whitenack from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m., will cover a variety of topics, including: When Should I apply for Benefits? How is my Benefit calculated? How to Apply Online for Retirement? Medicare and Disability benefits, and more.

The TIAA talk, presented by new Gustavus TIAA Financial Consultant Mark Thompson from 2:30 - 3:30 p.m., will cover a variety of topics such as: how to use your TIAA funds in retirement, how to build retirement income, define and discuss replacement ratios and Budgeting retirement expenses.

Attendees of this highly informative session will have a special opportunity to schedule a consultation meeting with Mark Thompson to be held in April/May; as appointment times allow.

All ages of employees and their spouses are welcome to attend, especially those 50 and older to best prepare for retirement planning and savings. If you are unable to attend, this session will be recorded for future viewing.
