Description

Gustavus faculty, staff and students are invited to attend a reception for special guests, Dr. Jean Godsall-Myers, and her colleague, Christian Eggert, both of the Wittenberg Center in Wittenberg, Germany. The Wittenberg Center is the host for our students who participate in the Gustavus Semester in Germany program and has collaborated closely with Gustavus for the past several years.

Students interested in studying abroad in Germany are particularly encouraged to come. Several past student participants of the Gustavus Semester in Germany program will also be attending; it will be an excellent time to hear more about the program and ask questions.

Dr. Jean Godsall-Myers is Associate Director of the Wittenberg Center. She served as an Associate Professor of Humanities and the Coordinator of Overseas Programs at Widener University in Chester, PA, where she also instructed all levels of German language and literature. Her areas of research include medieval German literature and the GDR era. She and her husband, Steve, have been co-directors at the Wittenberg Center since August, 2006.
