In 2020, America celebrated the 100-year anniversary of the ratification of the 19th amendment.  Join us for
Only the Few Brave Souls, a belated celebration of increased access to the ballot, and a musical exploration of representation through the words of and music of women artists.  Anna DeGraff and Szu-Ling Wu will present the music of Juliana Hall, Florence Price, Undine S. Moore, Maria Grever, Lori Laitman, Mary Lou Diemer, Lily & Nadia Boulanger, Rosephanye Powell, and the world premiere of a new song cycle by Minnesota composer Catherine Dalton.  Texts represent a terrific variety of women writers, including Margaret Atwood, Sappho, Dorothy Parker, Angelina Weld Grimké, Mary Church Terrell, and more.
