Mike English RetirementMarch 28, 2014 at 4:30–7 p.m.

It is with personal regret but warm wishes that I announce the retirement of Campus Safety Sergeant, Mike English. Mike's 14 year tenure with the Campus Safety Department followed a successful career in the United States Marine Corp. Mike has worked diligently to lead patrol officers and student staff. He is a great listener and often took feedback from students and made changes to improve services to Gustavus students and staff. We are indebted to Mike for his commitment to the campus safety industry and the uniqueness it has from other areas of law enforcement and/or security. Mike's work has created a foundation for continued success in Campus Safety serving the Gustavus Community.

We will honor Mike for his contributions in a farewell reception to be held in the Three Crowns Room at 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 28th. I invite all employees to extend their good wishes to Mike in his new endeavors.
