Paolo Pasolini was a twentieth century Italian filmmaker known for his edgy films on contemporary issues.But he also had a fascination for the Greek and Latin classics.In his 1969 film, Medea, Pasolini combined his love of classics with a critique of the overly rationalized, urban culture around him.
