Description

What motivates us? Reward & punishment? or something else? In Drive, Daniel Pink argues that motivation and performance are critically influenced by elements such as autonomy, mastery and purpose. Using 40 years of research on motivation, Pink suggests techniques for developing these elements and changing our lives. Join us for a discussion of this book and how its ideas can affect our work and that of our students. Wednesdays at 3:30 pm in the Faculty/Staff Lounge/Center, Jackson Campus Center. Books will be provided to the first ten individuals to register. To reserve a place and receive a book, please register with Cathy Blaukat (cblaukat@gustavus.edu) by Monday, 24 December.
